I went out yesterday for a walk with some friends, the sun was out and there was crisp frost on the ground.

We had a response on our Facebook page: There’s no stream at the bottom of most Wolds valleys as the underlying geology is mainly chalk which is very permeable and so most streams flow underground for the majority of the year.
