I woke up this morning and fancied a walk, so I took a walk down to the Knavesmire (racecourse) in York; this is what it looked like at 7 O’clock this morning, so crisp.

We had a response on our Facebook page: There’s no stream at the bottom of most Wolds valleys as the underlying geology is mainly chalk which is very permeable and so most streams flow underground for the majority of the year.
